TERMS OF BUSINESS

• Deposits

• A deposit of 50% of the room rate is required when making a reservation without credit card details or an authorised account with the New Northumbria Hotel.

• A deposit of 50% is required for all group bookings for non-account customers.

• Deposits must be paid to the New Northumbria Hotel within 7 days of initial booking to guarantee the reservation.

• Deposits will only be refunded for individual rooms when cancellations are made 7 days prior to arrival.

• 28 days notice is required to enable deposits to be refunded for group bookings. 10% of the deposit may be withheld to cover administration costs for large group bookings (10 rooms or more)

• Customers paying cash or private cheque (with guarantee card) will be required to pay a further deposit of £100 on arrival, to enable the use of the mini-bar and other hotel facilities.

• Cancellation

  You will be charged for your accommodation in full, at the rate agreed at the time of booking, should you fail to cancel your reservation prior to arrival as follows:

  -            Individual room		24 hours prior to arrival
  -            Between 2-4 rooms		48 hours prior to arrival
  -            Group bookings 5-9 rooms		14 days prior to arrival
  -            Group bookings 10+ rooms		28 days prior to arrival

  Such charges will be deducted from your credit card or deposit or conversely invoiced in the event you are an account customer.

  Arrival time is from 2.00pm

  Check-out is 11.00am
